The WINGStand is a lightweight, portable clip that transforms an Apple wireless keyboard into a dock for use with a tablet or smartphone. It is compatible with all models of iPhone and iPad and any other bluetooth compatible tablet or smartphone of thickness less than or equal to 0.5". It also accommodates most cases including the Apple Smart Cover and the first generation iPad case.

It is manufactured in the United States from industrial strength, recycled ABS plastic. With two components that snap together when not in use, it•s small footprint makes the device extremely portable.

Invented by Stanford student Daniel Haarburger, the WINGStand demonstrates how modern technology is reinventing the design process. Drafted in a dorm room, prototyped using 3D printers, then launched using a crowd funding platform called Kickstarter, the WINGStand was realized in less than five months. Better still, it was the product of a whole community of technologists. In less than 7 weeks, over 2,000 people came together to make the product a reality. Design, simplicity, and community are baked into our DNA.
