The iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (Wi-Fi Only - 6th Gen) features a fully-laminated, antireflective 12.9" mini-LED backlit 2732x2048 "Liquid Retina XDR" display (2D backlighting system, 264 ppi, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio) surrounded by a thin black bezel and packed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides.
This iPad Pro is powered by a 3.49 GHz Apple M2 processor with 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth. Has 256GB storage and 8GB of ram. It has a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port.
Like their predecessors, the iPad Pro 12.9" (6th Gen) models also support LiDAR, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129) that charges via a magnetic connection on the side of the device, but the Apple Pencil adds a new "Hover" feature that spotlights where the pencil will land before touching the surface.
Also like its predecessor, the iPad Pro 12.9" (6th Gen) models have a front mounted 12 megapixel "TrueDepth" camera that shoots 1080p video and supports the "Center Stage" feature that automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. It supports "Face ID" authentication, too. It has a dual rear camera "system" with a 12 megapixel wide angle and 10 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens.
In addition to Thunderbolt / USB 4, other connectivity includes simultaneous dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. It has five microphones and a four speaker system, too.
The battery life of this iPad Pro model is reportedly 10 hours "surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video."
