Credit Card Orders - To protect our customers against fraudulent use of their credit cards we only ship to names and addresses authorized by the credit card company, and some orders may require additional verification procedures in order to ensure their validity. These procedures are designed to protect us from fraud as well as protect the customer from unauthorized use of their credit cards. These procedures may include: Contacting the card issuer to verify name, addresses and phone numbers given or contacting the customer directly to verify validity of order or Signature verification with form of ID. If you have any questions or concerns about these fraud prevention measures, please feel free to contact us.
A signature may be required for some credit card orders at time of delivery. This is to guarantee that your order is not just left at your door step so a theft could possibly occur. In addition, we are only able to ship orders to the billing or alternate shipping address listed with your credit card company. To avoid a signature required delivery or to ship to an alternate address there are several solutions:
Order Processing - When you place an order with us your order is placed in a queue and is processed in the order it was received. If your order is placed on a weekday before 3 pm Central Time it will be processed and shipped the same day. Weekend orders are processed on the first business day of the following week. We are not open on weekends and holidays.
Order Tracking - Valid tracking numbers for your order will be emailed to you at time of shipment.
Shipping Carriers - All orders are shipped via USPS or FedEX. For orders with Free shipping we reserve the right to choose the carrier based on several factors.
Shipping and Billing Address information - When an order is placed with us an address verification is automatically done. If your billing address and zip code do not match the address that the card issuing bank has on file then your order will not be processed until we can verify your billing address and this can cause delays to shipping your order. If you wish to ship your order to an address other than that listed with the card issuing bank, then you must make sure the shipping address is listed with the card issuing bank as a verified Shipping address. You can usually add this to your card by calling your card's customer service number and telling the Representative that you would like to add a shipping address to your card. (This will not change your billing address, this only verifies that the cardholder approves shipments to the address in question) Check Cards or Bank Cards cannot have a separate address listed, therefore, if you use your check card you must ship to your Billing address. If this is an issue, please pay with Venmo, Zelle, or payal to allow us to ship to anywhere you specify.
Damaged On Arrival Orders - We take every precaution when packing your order to send it safely. Unfortunately, orders can become damaged by the carrier during transit occasionally. We must be notified of an item that is damaged on arrival within 5 business days of receipt so that we can file a claim with the carrier.
Shipping Charges – We offer free shipping for all orders to the contiguous United States. Shipping charges paid by the customer in order to expedite order arrival are nonrefundable.
Returning an Item - To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number please email us at cservice@MegaWatts.com with “RMA Request” as the subject. We will reply with a RMA # within 1 business day. Returned items must be in their original packaging with all original contents.
Refused/Non-delivered orders - All refused orders will be charged a $10 handling fee, plus the cost of additional return shipping. Incorrect or insufficient addresses will be charged a $10 redirect fee, so please insure to enter your correct address the first time. Shipping charges paid by customer to get items sooner than our free shipping method are nonrefundable.
Site Errors – While we attempt to put descriptions and prices accurately, occasionally we may make a mistake. In these rare instances where we make a mistake we reserve the right to cancel orders and give full refunds.
Please note that in no situation will our liability be greater than purchase price.
